If there is one problem that plagues teenagers nowadays, it would be the acne problem. It is easy to see why. Everyone wants fair complexion and smooth skin without blemishes. If you are not careful when you are dealing with your acne problem, it could very much trail you into adulthood. Although some acne problems are caused by your genes, it does not necessarily mean that you will not be able to redeem yourself. The best way to counter your acne problem is probably through acne diet.When you are doing the acne diet, there are several nutrients that you must have in your daily consumption. These nutrients include vitamin A, C, E and zinc. They are abundant in fruits and vegetables.

Now, lets start with fruits and vegetables for the acne diet. Some of the best fruits for acne diet would include avocados, apples, bananas, grapes, kiwi fruit and bananas. Make sure you consume some fruits on a daily basis. As for veggies, your best friend for acne diet would be artichokes, corn, cucumbers and broccoli. They are rich in zinc and other supplemental nutrients.

The second component of the acne diet would be salad. Yes, you need lots and lots of salad. It is better if you eat them fresh and raw because they contain more nutrient. Always try to purchase organic products whenever possible. Select brightly colored veggies, like carrots, for beta carotene and vitamin A and add a tinge of parsley to your salad for additional nutrients. As for the dressing, opt for acne diet friendly dressing, those made from olive oil or soy oil.

Now, I am going to talk about food to avoid in your acne diet. Caffeine rich items like coffee must be avoided at all costs. This is because they drain out all the nutrients before your body could absorb them. The next thing to avoid is definitely deep fried and fatty foods. The fat contained in these food items will hinder the progress of your acne diet. Sugar is definitely a no because it is one of the contributing factor of acne outbreak. If you are serious about your acne diet, you should avoid them at all costs.

So, these are all the things you must do for your acne diet. Consume fruits and veggies that are rich in vitamins and nutrients and avoid certain food that is bad for your skin. If you follow the guidelines above, you should see some improvements over the next few weeks.
