If you have not been to Canada before, I would strongly encourage you to pay the country a visit. This is what most of my friends have to say: Canada is similar to the United States, in a way, but it is unique enough in its own way to make a visit to Canada worthwhile. I will start this hub by introducing you to the culture and celebration of Canada. Firstly, Canadians celebrate Canada Day. It is something like our Independence Day on July 4th but Canada Day is celebrated three days earlier. Like the United States, Canada has her own Thanksgiving celebration as well. The Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. These are some of the unique celebrations in Canada that make them different from us.

Before we talk about some of the best tourism spots in Canada, I would start by saying that the Canadian environment has a good mixture of American and European influence, partly because of its close proximity to the United States and its status as a Comonwealth nation. So, the presence of these two cultures is very evident in its building designs and its holidays. The first place that you have to go to when you reach Canada is Montreal. This city has a rich Anglo Saxon and French culture and it will definitely be an eye opener to new visitors. The next two cities are definitely Quebec City and Vancouver. These two cities are probably not as exotic as Montreal but if you are a city person and you like the glimmering night lights, like the ones we have in New York City, you will definitely love Quebec and Vancouver.
Canada Holidays - Fishing Trip
If you want to escape the city life and try something different, a fishing trip might just be thing you need. Let me introuce you to Lake Christie in Canada. This is an ideal fishing spot for those who like fishing. Of course, fishing is not the only activity that you can do here. You can also choose to do a little bit of swimming and set up several tents near the lake for an unforgettable camping experience. There is probably a lot of physical work involved in fishing, swimming, waking up early, starting a campfire and setting up tents. You will certainly feel tired at the end of the day but trust me, it is all worth it. Lake Christie will provide you with the best outdoor experience you ever had.
