Online surveys for money

Thinking about doing online surveys for money? Think again. The very reason I am writing this hub is to change your mind because doing online surveys to make money is a very difficult task and it is not going to make you rich at all. I will divide this hub into 3 sections. In my first section, I will talk about the definition of taking surveys, my second would be the disadvantages and my third section would touch on the correct way to approach surveys.

What is online surveys for money? Simple. It simply means that you take some surveys online to make money. We have a lot of freebie websites on the internet that offer weekly or daily surveys. You answer some questions and you have some cash credited into your account. Sounds easy...read on!

What is the catch of these online surveys for money? Firstly, it offers extremely low payout. Completing one survey will only give you $0.01. No kidding. So, to make $20, it is going to take you one whole year even if it is a daily survey. Even then, there are websites that do not allow you to withdraw any money until you reach a certain threshold. So, are you telling me that you will set up millions of account to do the survey. Is it even worth it? You spend a gazillion hours just for that one cent. Next, the so-called eligibility factor for higher paying surveys. You have to be screened to see if you fit the criteria to take a survey and I can tell you that 90% of the time, you will not qualify but in the screening process, you have to give out your personal details or sign up for offers...which brings me to the third disadvantage: SPAM! Once you give out your personal details to advertisers, they will begin spamming your email with promotional offers and things that you do not need. Worse, you will begin receiving more telemarketer calls after that.

Now, I am going to talk about some real ways to earn money through these online surveys. To make money with online surveys, you have to do trial offers but you have to be careful with that because you need to cancel the offer once you receive the payment. Yes, advertisers pay you money to sign up for trial offers but you have to be quick and cancel these offers once you are done. If you forget this important step, you will be billed for the entire product, or worse still, recurring monthly billing. Use a separate credit card with for this transaction. If anything goes wrong, you know you are protected. Of course, a better way to do surveys would be to do offline surveys. There are a lot of opportunities for paid research or surveys if you search around. They usually put up flyers in major universities.

There you have it...the cons of using online surveys for money. Never join such a program. If you insist on doing so, do it at your own risk!!
